It is with sadness in our hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Monty. Though we miss him desperately, we know Monty is at peace with his saviour and is dancing with the angels.
Monty is survived by his loving wife Penny and his children Landon, Chance & Elijah, who loved him deeply. He will also be missed by his mother Marlene, brother Michael (Heather), sister Marla (Bob), mother in-law Lucy (John), sister in-law Renel, brother in-law Terry (Shawna), and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Mike and brother Miles.
Monty was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. The family moved from there to Fort St. John BC and then settled in Kamloops when Monty was 10 years old. He grew up in Kamloops and then followed his father into the profession of auctioneering and car sales. Eventually, Monty undertook Mission Work, travelling the world to share the Gospel. Monty and Penny raised their family here in Kamloops. Monty was an amazing father who was very proud of his three sons.

Behold God is my salvation I will trust and not be afraid:
for yah, the Lord is my strength and song.
He has also become my salvation.
A Celebration of Monty’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2010 in the Bible Truth Church, 1099 Fraser St., Kamloops, with Pastor Andrew Picklyk officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a Trust Fund is being set up for Monty’s youngest son Elijah.
